Assembler


gpac has partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing company that is seeking a full-time Assembler to join its team. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity on 1st shift with a company located right in your backyard.


Assembler Responsibilities

• Assemble motors, gearboxes, and electromechanical components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  
  
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring devices
  
  
• Read and follow assembly drawings, bills of materials, and standard operating procedures
  
  
• Support multiple production areas as priorities shift throughout the day or week
  
  
• Maintain quality standards while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
  
  
• Experience assembling electric motors, gearboxes, wiring, or other electromechanical components
  
  
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  
  
• Soldering or basic electrical experience is a plus
  
  
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices is preferred
