You will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, interacting daily with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, your daily tasks will include:Assisting Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring adherence to proper techniques and safety protocols.Educating patients about the importance of body mechanics, effective exercise routines, and home programs to support their rehabilitation efforts.Administering therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the licensed Physical Therapist's supervision.Monitoring and accurately documenting patient progress using clinical metrics such as range of motion, strength assessments, and functional improvement data.Preparing and organizing treatment areas and ensuring that all therapy equipment and supplies are readily accessible for optimal session execution.Effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care approaches and maximize patient outcomes.Providing emotional encouragement and support for patients, cultivating a positive and motivating healing atmosphere.Adhering to industry best practices and maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related challenges. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will also enhance the efficiency of patient documentation and coordination.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
