Job Description Location: Tooele, UT Job Type: Contract, Full-time Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated School-Based Psychologist to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Tooele, UT. The successful candidate will provide essential psychological services to students, staff, and families, contributing to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within the school community. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet student needs Provide counseling and intervention services to address student social-emotional and behavioral challenges Offer consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, offering insights on student progress and intervention strategies Maintain thorough and confidential records of assessment findings, progress notes, and interventions Qualifications: Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Valid Utah State Board of Education license as a School Psychologist Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Utah Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school-based setting Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments Benefits: Weekly pay Competitive wages Healthcare benefits Retirement options Professional support and development opportunities Personalized recruiter experience Soliant and its affiliates are committed to partnering with school districts in the Tooele area to ensure students receive the services they need for a bright and successful future.
