MANUAL MACHINIST
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 5:00 pm
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate manual machining equipment including lathes and mills to fabricate parts to precise specifications.
- Set up machines by adjusting tools and equipment to match specified requirements.
- Perform tool changes, adjustments, and calibrations as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the machining area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in operating manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Experience with machine setup, including adjustment of tolerances and tooling.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate components.
- Experience with programming machinery is a plus.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.
