The Plumber at Phoenix Water Solutions is responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, with a focus on underground and rough plumbing. Reporting to the Working Water Superintendent, this role requires working independently to address plumbing issues promptly, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Outcomes (Within First Six Months):

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on plumbing systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in underground plumbing techniques.
• Execute rough plumbing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues independently and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Communicate job progress effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Utilize resources efficiently for sourcing plumbing materials.
• Adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
• Deliver excellent customer service during all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, focusing on underground and rough plumbing tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing problems.
• Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate work activities and prioritize tasks effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.
• Valid plumbing license or certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing, with expertise in underground and rough plumbing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and solve plumbing problems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
