Material Handler / Forklift Operator – Asheville, NC

Location: Asheville, NC
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Temporary / Warehouse

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking an experienced Material Handler / Forklift Operator for a warehouse opportunity in Asheville, NC.

Qualified candidates are being considered immediately , so if you have recent forklift and material-handling experience and are ready to get started, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
• Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments
• Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for orders
• Support inventory organization and accurate material placement
• Perform routine forklift safety inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift and material-handling experience required
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Steel-toe boots required
