Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,150 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Issaquah, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department nurse located in an urban setting. This position involves providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a busy maternal health environment. The role requires hands-on clinical expertise and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and infants. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses). A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required. A valid compact license must be in hand at submission. Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum or other related units based on skill set. Additional Information: As part of the role, attendance at all deliveries and high-risk situations is expected. Skills include management of blood and blood products, cardioversion/defibrillation, functioning with epidural, PCA, and syringe pumps, and performing wound assessment and care. Experience with high-risk labor, GYN surgeries, neonatal transition nursery, and caring for various patient age groups is necessary. Clinical responsibilities include administering medications such as Heparin and Magnesium Sulfate, monitoring fetal well-being, and assisting with childbirth procedures. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026, with a scheduled end date of 12/14/2026. Candidates should be flexible to float to other units as needed, with prior approval for time off and schedule requests requested during submittal.
