Critical Care/Trauma Physician

Health First VitalWatch is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Tele-Intensivist to join our innovative eICU program in Rockledge, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver advanced critical care within a state-of-the-art tele-ICU command center supported by experienced ICU nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams across a 4-hospital integrated delivery network.

As part of a High Reliability Organization committed to patient safety, quality, and innovation, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based critical care across the health system using advanced technology platforms including Philips eCareManager and Epic EMR.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time employed Tele-Intensivist position
  • 7 PM 7 AM shift schedule with flexible block scheduling options
  • True shift-based role with no responsibilities outside scheduled hours
  • Provide real-time remote ICU care and proactive patient monitoring
  • Collaborate with bedside physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in rapid response and code events across the system
  • Utilize advanced telemedicine technology including Philips eCareManager and Epic

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
  • Active Florida Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ICU experience required
  • Telemedicine/eICU experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
