Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys to address complex legal challenges. A commitment to client service is essential for this role. Duties Manage plaintiff personal injury caseloads from claim process through litigation and trial. Interact and negotiate with insurance companies and defense counsel. Communicate and maintain positive client relationships. Draft legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, and settlement agreements. Conduct and defend depositions. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Requirements Active license to practice law in Missouri. Active Kansas license or eligibility to apply for admission by application. Minimum of one year of personal injury litigation experience. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas. Skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
