Senior Security Solutions Architect - Bedford

Salary: $155,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

• We seek a customer-facing Senior Security Solutions Architect with deep expertise in at least two major security disciplines and broad architectural knowledge across related enterprise security technologies.
• We value experience with identity and access security, network security and SASE/SSE, cloud and SaaS security, endpoint protection, and security operations. Candidates need not be experts in every technology listed.
• We expect strong understanding of networking technologies and their impact on security architecture and troubleshooting.
• We value working knowledge of APIs, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitHub/GitLab, JSON, YAML, and Infrastructure as Code, as well as the ability to identify useful automation, integrations, APIs, and AI-assisted workflows.
• We look for strong discovery, architecture, consulting, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage technical teams and executive audiences, evaluate technologies objectively, and develop multi-vendor solutions.
• We value professional-level certifications, though equivalent architecture, engineering, and customer-facing experience may substitute. Relevant credentials include advanced Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Microsoft, AWS, and industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC.

• We expect this architect to act as a senior technical lead and trusted advisor to customers, account teams, engineers, and technology partners.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture, and solution development for complex enterprise security opportunities.
• Design security solutions spanning identity, network security, SASE/SSE, cloud, endpoint, and security operations.
• Lead customer workshops, whiteboarding sessions, architecture reviews, technical presentations, demonstrations, and executive discussions.
• Translate business objectives, security requirements, technical challenges, and operational constraints into practical solution architectures.
• Develop solution designs, bills of materials, technical proposals, scopes of work, and implementation approaches.
• Partner with account teams and OEMs on technical strategy, solution differentiation, licensing and architecture validation, and opportunity progression.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Security Solutions Engineers without directly managing them.
• Maintain technical ownership through handoff to delivery teams and serve as an escalation point for complex post-sales architecture, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting issues.
• Validate designs, lead proof-of-concepts, troubleshoot critical issues, and provide SME-level technical support when needed.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships and maintain technical continuity from pre-sales strategy through post-sales outcomes.
