Sr Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) For Single Use Technologies The Sr Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for Single Use Technologies is a role within the sales organization of the BioProduction Group! This role will actively handle funnel opportunities for near‑term revenue gains and develop new opportunities to build a strong pipeline for future growth, while maintaining current business relationships and organic growth. This individual will apply their sales experience, bioproduction process knowledge, product expertise, market intelligence, and territory leadership skills to grow sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Searches for new opportunities and uses product portfolio to build a foundation for long term growth Drives existing funnel of opportunities to accelerate closure rates Applies intelligence‑based prospecting to identify new potential opportunities Prioritizes New Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to improve adoption rates and revenue return Acts on marketing‑qualified leads, quickly converting to new opportunities Collaborates with and influences Bioproduction Account Managers (BAMs) and Field Application Specialists (FAS) within their district to develop and lead account growth strategies Assists all BioProduction Account Managers within assigned territory with sales and account planning efforts to achieve sales goals Aids in development of technical solution‑matching for complex opportunities Attends technical teamwork visits to Business Unit manufacturing and R&D sites Maintains and improves technical knowledge on assigned product lines, company literature, and driven products Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a life‑science related field required, such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering 5+ years of combined sales or adjacent customer facing experience working in a role related to the bioproduction process, e.g., Field Application Scientist, Bioproduction Project Management Single Use Technology experience preferred, e.g., bioprocess containers, bioreactors, fermentors, and mixers Ability to interact cross‑functionally with all levels of the organization Shows good judgment and tact when dealing with internal and external customers Must possess strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development #J-18808-Ljbffr Thermo Fisher
