What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations) Experience & Qualifications License & Certifications: Active RN license and required certifications: ACLS and BLS . Competency in Telemetry required. Radius & Affiliation Rules: Strict 50-mile radius rule (driver's license required at submittal). Candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and/or Dignity). Clinical & Unit Overview Unit Details: 55-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 4th Floor East Wing. Patient Ratios: 1:4 (Days and Nights). Supported by CNA/nursing assistants and unit support staff (care managers, social workers, dieticians, PT, OT). Charting System & Equipment: EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps. Floating Requirements: Yes, ideally to Medical-Surgical areas depending on highest need. Compliance & Facility Policies Testing Policy: RNs must take an open-book pass/fail exam on skills learned during orientation on Friday (resources provided; must score 90% to pass or contract will be terminated). Fingernail Policy: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient-care departments (refusal to remove will lead to immediate contract termination). Interview Type: Manager interview with no clinical involvement.
