X-Ray Technologist

Job Overview

A motivated and skilled X-Ray Technologist is needed for a day shift position in a dynamic radiology unit. This role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and operating room assistance. The candidate should be ready to start as soon as possible.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotating day off during the week
• Every other weekend from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Perform fluoroscopy and assist in the operating room as needed.
• Be available to work holidays and potential overtime based on staffing requirements.
• Maintain appropriate health and safety standards while operating radiographic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist or in a related role.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Familiarity with all aspects of diagnostic radiology, including fluoroscopy and surgical procedures.

Additional Notes

• Orientation is scheduled every Monday.
• Lunch Break: A 30-minute break is mandatory during shifts.
• Willingness to adapt to varying shifts including evenings and overnights may be required based on staffing needs.
