Director of Finance And Operations

Pinarello is seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to provide strategic financial and operational leadership for our US business. As a key member of the US leadership team, this role owns three areas: Strategic Finance & HQ Alignment, Net Working Capital Management, and Logistics & Operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and commercial judgment with hands-on operational leadership. You will partner closely with Pinarello HQ, US leadership, and the Planning team while leading the Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse functions in the US.

This position reports to the US Managing Director and is based out of our warehouse in Charlotte, NC. Ability to travel up to 25% of employment; this will include trips to Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Finance & HQ Alignment

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management for the US business.
• Serve as the primary Finance partner between the US organization and Pinarello HQ.
• Provide clear visibility into revenue, margin, expenses, profitability, cash requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on pricing, commercial programs, product launches, investments, and other key decisions.
• Ensure US financial priorities align with Pinarello’s global objectives and maintain appropriate financial governance and controls.
• Translate financial performance into actionable recommendations for US leadership.

2. Net Working Capital Management

• Own the management and optimization of Net Working Capital for the US business.
• Develop forward-looking NWC and cash forecasts and identify opportunities to improve cash conversion.
• Partner with the Planning team on inventory requirements, purchasing commitments, demand forecasts, and expected inventory flows.
• Balance inventory investment with revenue expectations, product availability, and working capital objectives.
• Monitor inventory, receivables, and payables performance and identify key risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with HQ Finance and Planning to align US working capital requirements with global financial and supply plans.

3. Logistics & Operations

• Lead US logistics, inbound supply, warehousing, and fulfillment operations.
• Oversee the end-to-end flow of product from overseas suppliers through international transportation, US warehousing, and customer fulfillment.
• Partner with Pinarello HQ, overseas suppliers, and the Planning team to align product availability, inbound shipments, and customer demand.
• Proactively manage international freight, import requirements, shipment delays, capacity constraints, and other supply chain risks.
• Establish and manage KPIs across logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment.
• Develop scalable operational processes to support the continued growth of Pinarello in the US.

Team Leadership

· Lead and develop the Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.

· Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability across each function.

· Build strong collaboration between Finance, Planning, Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, and HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, commercial finance, operations, or related leadership roles.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance management.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, and Net Working Capital.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SQL and Power BI preferred
• Experience leading or working closely with logistics, warehousing, supply chain, and fulfillment functions.
• Experience with international supply chains, overseas suppliers, or a global headquarters organization strongly preferred.
• Experience in a business such as premium sporting or luxury goods is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial judgment and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams.
