Project Engineer InternWe are currently seeking Project Engineer Interns to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program.Summary/ObjectiveAn integral team member who collaborates on the management and execution of a project safely and profitably.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.Learn and perform project management functions of estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.Understanding and learning construction plans.Ability to interact with clients, managers, and employees with a high level of professionalism.Other assigned dutiesCompetenciesPositive attitude towards learning and professional development.Ethical conduct.Ability to effectively communicateProficient in Microsoft OfficeTime management.Teamwork-oriented.Supervisory RequirementsThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentEmployees will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The incumbent regularly sits for long periods at a desk in front of a computer screen.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time internship for 12 weeks during the summer.
