Step into a rewarding contract role supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Fort Pierce, FL. This onsite, part-time opportunity offers a consistent 15 hours per week engaging with an adolescent caseload and making a meaningful difference in students’ communication development.

Ideal candidates bring experience in school-based speech therapy and possess a compassionate approach to working with teens. Whether you are an SLP-CCC, new clinician pursuing your CFY, or have a strong background in pediatric and healthcare speech therapy, your skills will be valued and supported. You’ll collaborate with school staff, participate in IEP meetings, and develop individualized treatment plans that foster student success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Florida SLP License required
• Experience with high school or adolescent populations preferred
• Eligible or actively pursuing SLP-CCC or CFY
• Strong pediatric or school-based SLP skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work onsite in a collaborative educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for assigned student caseload
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work alongside teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
