Sales Associate

Overview All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will provide service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products. Positions focus on sales responsibilities and may include merchandising, front‑end, or other duties as needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products. Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. Deliver exceptional service and personalized experience by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment. Complete cross‑functional responsibilities as assigned and perform other duties as assigned. Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws – if delivery is added as an essential job function. Physical Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day. Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets. Climb ladders and lift 50lb. overhead repeatedly. May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software. Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO).
