Our work is primarily focused on large-scale data center construction, supporting complex electrical, controls, and monitoring systems from installation through final commissioning.Role Location Requirement (Please Read)This Assistant Project Manager role is specifically assigned to an active jobsite in Jeffersonville, OH.Daily on-site presence in Jeffersonville is requiredThis is not a hybrid or office-based roleA company-provided vehicle is includedJSET operates across multiple active industrial and data center construction sites throughout the region. This role requires a willingness to commute to project sites within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, OH based on project needs.Candidates must be comfortable with consistent daily travel and field-based work as a core function of the role.Upon completion of the Jeffersonville project, this role may be reassigned to support other active data center or industrial construction sites within the region.Position OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the successful execution of BMS and EPMS construction projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial construction and data center environments while supporting Project Managers with coordination, documentation, and jobsite-level execution.The APM works closely with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure projects remain organized, accurate, and on schedule.What You'll DoReview project plans, drawings, and specifications with the project teamTrack subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources against project schedules and milestonesMaintain accurate project documentation and logs in ProcoreUpdate tracking tools, spreadsheets, and job cost dataAssist with material procurement and field coordinationDraft, submit, and track RFIs to support issue resolutionAttend project meetings and document action items and follow-upsSupport budget tracking, forecasting, and schedule updatesAssist Project Managers with daily coordination on active jobsitesWork EnvironmentField-based Assistant Project Manager role with daily presence on an active jobsiteWork performed in data centers and industrial construction environmentsFrequent collaboration with field crews and project teamsExposure to noise, dust, heat, and changing weather conditionsDaily use of Procore, Excel, and digital project tracking toolsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of experience in construction, field support, or project coordinationBasic understanding of construction principles and terminologyStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Valid driver's license and ability to travel to and work on active job sites dailyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in project support or Assistant Project Manager rolesExperience with Procore or similar construction management softwareExposure to electrical systems, controls, BMS, or EPMSAssociate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related fieldInterest in data center construction or industrial projectsBenefitsCompetitive pay with performance-based bonus opportunitiesCompany -provided vehicle for project travel401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities within industrial and data center construction project managementAdditional InformationApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
