Ambulatory Access Optimization Specialist

Job Overview TEKsystems is hiring for an Ambulatory Access Optimization Specialist to support a local healthcare client in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite/week). Candidates must be based in the Columbus, Ohio area to support a mix of onsite collaboration and remote work. This role is focused on enhancing how patients access care by evaluating scheduling, registration, and referral workflows to identify inefficiencies, reduce delays, and create a more seamless patient experience from initial contact through appointment completion. Responsibilities The specialist will work cross-functionally with operations, front-office staff, and IT teams to implement workflow improvements, standardize processes, and support system updates that increase access, throughput, and overall operational efficiency. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing a clear path to full-time employment. Upon conversion, candidates will have the opportunity to obtain Epic module certifications and continue growing within access optimization initiatives. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
