Deans' Assistant Study Hall Supervisor
It is the responsibility of this position to assist the Deans of Students and the Director of the Deans Office in maintaining a safe and secure campus and learning environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties and responsibilities may be assigned):
- Supervise students (Study Hall room, hallway, and other areas as requested)
- Keep records as necessary (attendance, monitor grades, database, student work, detentions, etc.)
- Assist in the facilitation of support services for students (i.e. in the Student Support Center, for problem solving teams, with CHS staff, with outside agencies, etc.)
- Assist supervisor in coordination of student tardy activity.
- Create an environment that promotes student responsibility.
- Instruct students on pro-social behaviors.
- Coordinate with teachers and students for work completion for academic and elective courses.
- Work with truant students with relation to attendance issues.

Education, certification, and experience:
Experience supervising youth, preferably high school-level students preferred
Skills and abilities:
Must be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, in English. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, in Spanish preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external constituents. Ability to work independently, stay on task, multi-task, and take responsibility to complete assigned projects and duties in a timely and efficient manner.
