We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items as needed. The clerk will also handle merchandise shipping records, distribute materials in inventory and on the manufacturing line, prepare kitting packages, and complete the put-away function for received goods. Additionally, CPD labeling must be performed according to customer requirements. The role involves lifting heavy items and may require operating a forklift.

Shifts and Pay:

• Days: 6:45AM 3:15PM - $21.50/hr
• Swing: 3:35PM 12:05AM - $23.00/hr
• Graveyard: 10PM 6:30AM - $26.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Unpack and inspect received goods against purchase orders/invoices
• Maintain records of all received goods and handle rejected items
• Keep accurate records of shipped merchandise
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing line
• Prepare kitting packages as required
• Perform put-away of received goods
• Label products per customer CPD requirements
• Lift and handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs), operate a forklift (if required)

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of related experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to regularly lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Effective team player, strong communication skills
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• High school diploma or GED
