Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design EngineerWe are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in product design and development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing mechanical components and assemblies, as well as proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools for creating and optimizing complex designs.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for product development programs.Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and design documentation using CAD software.Design and support development of plastic and metal parts, printed circuit board (PCB) integrations, and flexible circuit assemblies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering to ensure successful product development.Conduct design reviews and support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.Ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost objectives.Support engineering change management and continuous product improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.5+ years of experience designing mechanical components, including plastic parts, metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), or flex circuits.5+ years of hands-on experience using CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and product development methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working on consumer electronics, wearable devices, robotics, automotive, or similar products.Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturing (DFM).Experience supporting prototype development and validation testing.US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
