Litigation Associate

Robinson Franzman, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing team in downtown Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney (1–3 years of experience) looking to develop strong litigation skills in a collaborative, high-performance environment, with exposure to both civil and commercial litigation matters. About the Role As a Litigation Associate, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of civil and commercial disputes, gaining hands‑on experience in all phases of litigation—from case strategy through trial preparation. Key Responsibilities Assist in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs Manage and organize case files and discovery materials Take and defend depositions (as experience allows) Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active membership in the Georgia Bar (or ability to obtain promptly) 1–3 years of litigation experience (civil and/or commercial litigation preferred) Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast‑paced environment What We’re Looking For Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication Initiative and ownership over assigned matters Professionalism and sound judgment A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic litigation environment This is a full-time, in‑office position based in our downtown Atlanta office.
