- 1+ Year of Press Brake Operator Experience required
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure
- Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders to plan daily tasks.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using standard fabrication tools.
- Set up workstations, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are ready for use.
- Perform accurate layout and part preparation prior to welding or forming.
- Operate general fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders.
- Run a press brake for bending operations as needed or train to develop proficiency.
- Inspect parts for accuracy, correct bends, and adherence to quality standards.
- Adjust tools, fixtures, or settings to ensure dimensional consistency.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and suggest improvements to workflow.
- Work collaboratively with other fabricators to complete assemblies and large projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the day.
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and equipment checks.
- Document completed work and communicate progress to leadership.
- Support cross-training efforts within the fabrication team.
- Assist in continuous-improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
