Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our expert team. In this role, you will design, analyze, and oversee mechanical systems and components, contributing to the successful execution of construction, infrastructure, and development projects. Your technical expertise and collaboration skills will be key to delivering outstanding results for our clients. Responsibilities Develop and review mechanical system designs, ensuring they align with project goals and industry standards. Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance. Prepare and present detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports. Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly into overall project plans. Conduct site inspections to assess the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering practices, tools, and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) PE license combined with 5 years' experience, REQUIRED. design of commercial HVAC systems so they can witness mechanical system testing consisting of site inspection, testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) verification, duct air leakage tests(DALT) and performance verification testing (PVT) for facility HVAC and other mechanical systems prior to construction completion. This includes verifying design, installation, and system balancing, optimizing and verifying digital controls, verifying equipment start and operation for air handlers, chillers, pumps, boilers, terminal equipment, energy recovery, renewable energy, and distribution systems. Systems and components are thoroughly evaluated to ensure that they are installed in accordance with design intent and provide desired levels of performance and energy efficiency.
