Hair Stylist/Beautician (Independent Contractor)

Golden San Andreas Care Center is seeking a licensed cosmetologist/hair stylist to provide professional hair care services to our residents. This is an independent contractor opportunity with no salon rental fees , offering the flexibility to set your own schedule while providing meaningful services to seniors.

Schedule: Approximately 1–2 days per week, based on resident needs and appointments.

As a Hair Stylist/Beautician, you will provide quality salon services to residents while creating a welcoming, comfortable, and compassionate experience.

• Provide professional hair care services, including washing, cutting, coloring, styling, and other services within your scope of practice

• Consult with residents to understand their preferences and individual needs

• Provide compassionate, professional service in a senior living/healthcare environment

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming salon environment

• Properly sanitize and maintain all equipment and tools

• Maintain appropriate records of services provided while protecting resident confidentiality

• Communicate professionally with residents and facility staff

• Manage your own schedule and appointments in coordination with the facility

• Follow all applicable licensing, sanitation, safety, and facility requirements

• Active California Cosmetology License

• Professional liability insurance

• Previous experience providing hair services to seniors is preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to working with seniors

• Commitment to proper sanitation and safety standards

• Ability to work approximately 1–2 days per week based on resident needs
