Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you'll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This position is located in Hazel Crest, IL at a hospital setting approximately 30 minutes from Chicago. The facility has 231 beds and operates as a teaching hospital. You will encounter a very heavy emergency department patient population, inpatient, outpatient, ICU, occasional pediatrics, and some trauma cases.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
• BLS certification.
• IEMA license.
• Acute care radiology experience. Candidates with only mobile x-ray experience will not be accepted.
• Comfortable performing portables and general x-rays including chest and long bones.
• Comfortable working independently when scheduled as the sole technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluoroscopy experience is a plus. Fluoro not required for night assignments.
• Operating room experience is a plus.
• Experience with C-arm equipment is a plus.
• Experience with EPIC and GE PACS is beneficial but not required.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend.
• Orientation: one week of facility and unit orientation; additional orientation available if needed.
• Patient volume: approximately 20–30 patients per tech per day.
• Support: lead tech available on some shifts; respiratory therapist available 24/7; hospitalist 24/7; radiologist reads available during the day with service reads after 10:00 PM.
• Floating: no floating to other facilities; duties include portables.
