Summary: You will plan and deliver professional nursing care aligned with facility policies, occasionally assuming charge nurse duties. Your role involves assessing patients, organizing and implementing care plans, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and organize appropriate care
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively
• Maintain accurate and relevant patient records
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor quality of care using outcome-oriented indicators
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging
• Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure
• No prior work experience required

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective organizational and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of developmental, physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual patient needs

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate clearly, observe patients attentively, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. May involve exposure to blood or infectious materials.

Licenses and Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association and active RN licensure.
