Freelance Creative Director, Social (Part-Time Hours) *20 hours/week- Remote* *Must have CPG FOOD/DESSERT experience* *Must be Creative Director level* *AGENCY experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED* Join an in-house creative studio supporting a portfolio of iconic food brands as a social-first Creative Director . This is a remote, hands-on, maker-focused freelance opportunity (approximately 20 hours per week) for a creative leader who thrives on developing platform-native content, spotting cultural trends, and creating work that earns attention across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. What You'll Do: Lead social creative across multiple consumer brands, overseeing both always-on content and larger social activations. Concept, create, and execute social-first content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and carousel posts. Provide creative leadership and mentorship to a team of content creators, ensuring high-quality output at scale. Partner closely with social media managers, strategists, and brand stakeholders to align creative with business objectives. Stay ahead of trends, creator culture, platform updates, and emerging social behaviors. Build scalable content frameworks, templates, and creative toolkits to support efficient content production. What We're Looking For: Proven experience leading social creative for consumer brands. Strong understanding of social platforms, influencer marketing, UGC, and platform-native content. Hands-on proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Meta Creative Studio, and Adobe Creative Suite . Experience managing and developing creative teams. Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to sell ideas internally and externally. Experience incorporating generative AI tools into creative workflows, including AI-assisted image, video, and copy development. Location & Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week onsite in NYC Metro Area This is an excellent opportunity for a social-savvy creative leader who combines strategic thinking, hands-on content creation, team leadership, and AI-enabled creative workflows to drive engaging consumer brand experiences.
