The Role

\n

\n

\n
• Lead and support complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and portfolio level work
\n
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and related real estate transactional contracts
\n
• Handle commercial leasing matters for office, industrial, and retail properties, including new leases and amendments
\n
• Coordinate diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes for lender, developer, and business clients
\n
• Act as a senior point of contact to clients while working closely with partners on strategy and execution
\n

Ideal Candidate Profile

\n

\n

The firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney with:

\n

\n
• Approximately 7 or more years of commercial real estate transactional experience
\n
• Strong experience across core commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing
\n
• Admission to the Illinois bar or ability to become admitted in Illinois
\n
• Demonstrated career stability and progression within well established commercial real estate practices
\n
• Ability to work in the Chicago office at least 4 days per week and handle matters with significant independence
\n

Compensation & Benefits

• From $200,000 base salary, depending on experience
\n
• Performance based bonus opportunity
\n
• Reasonable billable hours expectation of approximately 1,800 hours
\n
