Neurology Physician Assistant

• 6p 6a 12 hour night shifts
• Call: Yes, in-house call. Provider must be on site to respond to emergent cases, sleep room can be available if needed.
• up to possibly 20 shifts per month
• PA first assist preferred

• Average Number of surgeries per physician per day: 3
• Average No. of hospital patients per physician per day: 10-25; Admissions - 3-5; ICU - 3
• Required to Supervise other healthcare providers: Yes, there are a couple of days where locum tenens physician is covering the Neurosurgery call.

• General neurosurgery Adult & Trauma
• Cerebrovascular: Open, Endovascular, Carotid or vertebral artery surgery, Aneurysm clipping
• Spinal surgery w/ instrumentation
• Spinal surgery w/o instrumentation
• Placement of ICP monitors
