Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Colorado

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 18-bed Emergency Department with typical 4:1 patient ratios based on acuity

Highlights:

• Work in a hospital-based Emergency Department with enhanced resources including respiratory therapy, house supervisor support, full onsite lab, and comprehensive radiology services (CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, Ultrasound)
• Collaborate with a seasoned, teamwork-oriented nursing staff of 2 RNs on night shift with strong unit culture and positive work environment
• Utilize modern equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE technology with Meditech EMR system
• Perform a diverse range of emergency procedures including IV placement, EKG, Foley catheterization, splinting, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Benefit from recent transition from freestanding ED to hospital-based setting with expanded clinical support and resources across med/surg and ICU units

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience required
• Active Colorado RN license or compact state license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
• Experience working in a large hospital setting preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
