Talent Group is conducting confidential pre-screening interviews for an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a well established manufacturing operation. Must be able to train on day shift -Mon - Friday and then transition to nights for a 3,4,4,3 rotational shift working 3:45pm to 4:15am Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed for a week and Sun, Mon, Tue, for next week.

We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running. This position offers the opportunity to work with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, VFDs, facility equipment, and production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, drives, and control systems
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building equipment
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance activities through the maintenance management system
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Support production teams by responding to equipment issues quickly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, steel, aluminum, or automotive environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• PLC and VFD experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Understanding of preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to safely operate or become certified on forklifts, cranes, and manlifts
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Certificate, Technical Degree, Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Manufacturing equipment maintenance experience
