Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses!

Job Description:


- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
- Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in the Operating Room
- License: Active California RN license required
- Certifications: BLS required
- First-Time Travelers: Welcome!

Key Details:


- Weekend Requirements: Yes, 2 weekends in-house OR
- On-Call Requirements: Yes, 2 weekends on-call within 6 weeks
- Scheduling Flexibility: None; traveler must be flexible
- Time Off: Maximum of 10 days RTO, no requests within the first 2 weeks
- Holidays: Must work 3 out of 5 holidays

Skills and Experience Preferred:


- Proficiency in various procedures including, but not limited to:
- Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy
- Appendectomy
- Arthroscopy
- Cholecystectomy
- Spinal Fusion
- Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy
- Experience with the following patient demographics:
- Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Unit Details:


- Daily Census: 35
- Number of Operating Rooms: 12
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Unit Secretary

Submission Requirements:


- References: 2 from previous employment required, from supervisors or higher
- Previous Employment: Must have at least 24 months of separation if a past permanent employee
- Background Checks: Any hits will be reviewed case-by-case; must be completely closed
