Asset Management / Preventive Maintenance Specialist

Martekhas been awarded several long-term Federal contracts to provide a wide range of real estate talent. Our team is seeking an Asset Management/Preventive Maintenance Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Energy (DoE) with the required education and experience outlined below. Full-time, 5 Days a week. Site Address: 1000 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024 Responsibilities & Duties Conduct comprehensive asset inventory (furniture, equipment, building systems). Tag, track, and manage asset data within a centralized system (e.g., CMMS). Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical). Coordinate with facilities and vendors for maintenance planning and execution. Ensure assets are properly installed, tested, and operational post-move. Support warranty tracking and lifecycle cost analysis. Establish standard processes for ongoing asset management in the new building. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, or asset management/CMMS certifications) preferred. Experience Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. EEO/AA Employer/Vets/Disability.
