About the Position

Job Title: CST / ORT Profession: CST / ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care CST experience License: NBSTA Certification Certifications: DORA Certification, BLS Description: Travel opportunity for CST in the OR. Main OR unit information includes 23 operating rooms and 70 staff members. Patient ratios are 1:1. Typical staffing for day shift includes a charge nurse, three RNs, two CNAs, and one to three sitters. Minimal six months of recent acute care hospital experience is required. Candidates must possess NBSTA and DORA certifications, as well as BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include experience in Ortho, Spine, CV, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology. Elective surgical cases are performed with no trauma cases. The environment is team-oriented and flexible. Call is required with a 30-minute response time. Second call on some weekends and first call for one to two shifts may be expected. Patient care experience is a priority for this role.
