Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Sr. Business Systems Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts. You will play a key role in shaping data-driven solutions that support Supply Chain operations like transportation, forecasting, and customer service. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to turn complex business needs into scalable analytics and system solutions. You’ll help drive innovation while ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and aligned with modern data platforms.A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.What You'll Brew:Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain processes including transportation, replenishment, forecasting, and customer servicePartner with data engineers, analytics teams, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value data productsTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaDesign and support analytics-enabled solutions using tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-based data platformsDrive initiatives that improve decision-making, reduce costs, and enhance service levelsPlan and prioritize work across sprint, quarterly, and long-term timelinesSupport full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile delivery, testing, validation, and documentationMonitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data products in collaboration with engineering teamsLead initiatives from concept through delivery and sustained operational useWork in a standard office environment with occasional travel as neededWhat Ingredients You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role5+ years of experience partnering with software, data, or analytics engineering teamsExperience working within agile methodologies such as Scrum or KanbanExperience supporting supply chain or operational domains (e.g., transportation, forecasting, customer service)Ability to manage work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience translating business problems into data-driven solutionsFamiliarity with analytics platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud data environmentsExperience using tools such as Jira and ConfluencePreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a data mesh or domain-oriented analytics environmentExposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or optimization use casesFamiliarity with automation, decision-support tools, or AI-enabled workflowsExperience supporting production analytics or data productsBackground in consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industriesLevel: 6ICSalaried: At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $97,000 and $163,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
