Job Title: Fleet Driver Status: Full-time/overtime eligibleReports to: Fleet Maintenance Manager Work Schedule: Flexible within normal operational hoursCompensation: $20-26 per hourThis pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. We were also recognized by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as one of the area's Top Work Places.Overview: Assist with pick-up and delivery of trucks and other assorted fleet dutiesSummary of duties and responsibilities: Fulfill pick-up and delivery of fleet vehicles in a timely mannerDeliver fleet related items such as license stickersAssist with entry level mechanic workInstalling decals, applying license plates.Assist with various maintenance responsibilities as directed by the Fleet Maintenance CoordinatorClean warehouse, vehicles, and equipmentComply with federal and state vehicle requirementsComply with company and federal safety rules, policies, and proceduresMaintain and establish cooperative working relationshipsSpeak effectively with customers and employees of the companyServe as an example for other employees; foster a culture of respect, integrity and kindnessOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required1+ years' work experience required, preferably in a warehouse environmentValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredCDL Preferred not requiredAbility to work with minimal to no supervision and perform independent tasks based upon general directionMechanical aptitude requiredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Requirements of the Role:Frequent lifting up to 25 poundsOccasional lifting up to 50 poundsExtended periods of driving may be required at timesMust be comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures and conditionsAble to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controlsCapable of bending, twisting, turning, lifting, stretching, pushing, pulling, and crouching as needed to perform the various essential functions and job duties of this roleAble to reach with hands and armsAble to stand for moderate to long periods of time
