Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg to join a fast-paced 28-bed unit in Akron, OH. This travel assignment requires a dedicated nurse with expertise in respiratory ailments and care, including trach and chronic ventilator patients. Floating is required in this dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg – Travel

• Provide care for patients with respiratory ailments, including trach and chronic ventilator patients
• Float to different units as required
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:5/6
• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws as needed
• Wear solid black scrubs while on duty

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg – Travel

• BLS certification required
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience specializing in trach/chronic vent patients
• 2+ years of recent experience in drawing blood
• Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
• Must float as required and be available for every other weekend shifts
