About the Role As a Shift Leader, you will lead store operations when the Assistant Manager or General Manager is not present. We'll expect you to lead by example with a positive attitude and good old-fashioned hard work, focusing on product quality, strong team leadership, and supreme customer service. We're looking for someone with a natural ability to connect with people, who enthusiastically guides their team to deliver a moment of joy to each and every customer. This is a year-round position, and we're looking for someone ready to grow with us beyond the summer rush. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading, motivating, and supporting your team during each shift Modeling and communicating our culture: setting a positive tone, giving in-the-moment feedback, and keeping the team informed and engaged Ordering product and maintaining accurate inventory Enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean, organized work area Maintaining an effective and positive environment while staying current on changes, new menu items, and procedures Delivering supreme customer service and resolving customer concerns with care Requirements: 1 year of management or leadership experience in a retail environment preferred Year-round availability required - this is not a seasonal position Must have opening AND closing availability, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts Reliable transportation Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching, and turning during all shifts Ability to reach and grasp with hands; talk and hear from far away and in close proximity; taste and smell Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more Estimated hourly wage with tips is $16-19 For more information, visit Gelati Celesti is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gelati Celesti Ice Cream LLC
