Compensation Range: $49,250.00-$60,000.00 base plus opportunity for commission.

The Role

The Retirement Consultant guides pre-retirees and retirees through the move from accumulating wealth to living on it. You will lead discovery conversations, help deliver exceptional service, and build long-term relationships with the households you serve. 

What You Will Do

• Conduct discovery meetings to understand each household's income needs, assets, timeline, and goals.
• Build and present retirement income plans.
• Support clients with employer plan decisions, including Florida Retirement System (FRS) pension and federal and military retirement benefits.
• Coordinate with the firm's tax and estate planning partners so each client's plan is fully integrated.
• Hold annual and life-event reviews and keep plans current as circumstances change.
  
• Represent the firm at community workshops and educational events in the Jacksonville market.

What You Bring

• An active Series 65, or Series 66 with Series 7. Registration is a condition of client-facing advisory work.
• At least 3 years of experience in retirement planning, financial planning, or a client-facing wealth management role.
• A working knowledge of retirement income planning, Social Security, Medicare, and tax-efficient distribution.
• Clear, warm communication that makes complex financial topics understandable.
• A clean regulatory and compliance record.

Preferred

• Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity license.
• Experience with FRS, TSP, or military retirement benefits.
