Job Title Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Location Burlington, NC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients Utilize telemetry monitoring capabilities available on the unit Serve as Charge RN as needed during assigned shifts Float to other campus locations as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Charge RN experience required Active RN license in hand at time of submission Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required EPIC EMR experience required Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with orthopedic patient populations including post-surgical care Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an inpatient setting Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced inpatient units Why Join Us Work on a well-equipped unit featuring an on-unit physical therapy gym, allowing patients to receive therapy without leaving the floor No call required, offering a predictable and structured schedule Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774593.
