Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and detailed medical history assessments
• Aid in the diagnosis and assessment of surgical conditions through imaging and laboratory analysis
• Work alongside surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge directives, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical settings is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Required state licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain)
