Senior Electrical Engineer (Onsite)

Principal EngineerRaytheon is looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Space & Airborne Power & Digital Department, supporting our analog mechanism control designs. The applicant will support designs of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Units that provide power and control for mechanisms and other external devices, with special emphasis on design for manufacturing, assembly, test, and cost.What You Will DoLead or support digital and/or analog designs for avionics systemsEnhance electrical engineering skills by working with digital and/or analog hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience is preferredSupport component level design and test reviewsCollaboration with both Functional and Program higher level managementCollaboration with Customer and SuppliersAssignment may require some travel (~10%)Assignments may include being a team member or guiding a team through several phases of hardware systems lifecycle such as designs and analysis; architecting new electronic systems; developing and documenting subsystem requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert; presentations to peers, management, and government customers; and root-cause failure investigationsQualifications You Must HaveA Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics related field and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production supportExperience in Analog/Digital sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development, requirement validation, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design, Test Integration and/or Supplier Management.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
