About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: Must have active certifications in hand at the time of submission. One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse. The nurse will work day shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty. A permanent Ohio license or a compact license must be held prior to submission. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Travelers will need to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to proceed. Travelers will be provided with two attempts to pass these assessments. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of starting the position and must be updated annually. Candidates should not have any open background cases. The role may require a hands-on competency to be completed yearly after a continuous contract. All modules are billable up to a specified number of hours. Additional time for pre-start modules may not be billable.
