Assist with assessing students using both Fountas and Pinnell and DIBELS during benchmark periods Progress Monitor reading support students on a monthly or biweekly basis based using DIBELS Work with students in grades 2-5 individually using the Read Naturally program in order to further develop fluency. Student progress will need to be monitored and anecdotal records should be taken on each student. Provide direct instruction for struggling Kindergarten students either individually or in a small group setting. WORK SCHEDULE : 10-month position, 5.5 hours/day, 182 days/year PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position requires meeting deadlines with severe time constraints, interacting with staff and the public, and occasional irregular or extended work hours. This job requires the ability to observe, inspect, identify, and determine the accuracy of written documentation and fine details. Some/occasional local travel may be necessary: Must be able to provide own transportation to school-related functions/meetings, community agencies, and schools throughout our service area. The employee is frequently required to communicate and interact in person and by phone or e-mail with the public, students, parents, staff, other administrators, board members, and community agencies.
