Logistics Coordinator

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support distribution center and transportation operations within a temperature-controlled supply chain environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining logistics documentation, monitoring transportation activities, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory movement.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Understanding of transportation scheduling, freight coordination, and shipping documentation
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and shipment tracking
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting temperature-controlled, food distribution, or cold chain operations
- Knowledge of transportation compliance and regulatory requirements
- Experience with carrier management and freight performance reporting
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives and operational KPI reporting
- Experience working in high-volume distribution or warehouse environments
