Cardiovascular Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab

ARMStaffing is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Ocala, Florida.

Location: Ocala, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: This position requires 4 shifts per week, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes approximately 10-12 nights of call, which encompasses one weekend per month.

Job Description: The Cardiovascular Technologist will be an integral part of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, focusing on interventional procedures and patient care. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including both diagnostic and interventional interventions.
• Prepare and maintain equipment required for procedures.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and provide post-procedure care.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to emergency situations effectively and timely.

Required Experience

• Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology setting is required.
• Proven ability to operate cardiac monitoring and catheterization equipment effectively.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid CPR certification.
• State licensure as required.
