RN- Ambulatory (Upstate Cancer Ctr-Community)

We are seeking a qualified registered nurse for an ambulatory care position at our Upstate Cancer Center. The ideal candidate will have current New York state registration, BLS certification (able to be recertified), and a minimum of 1.5 years recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care setting comparable in size and level to a hospital. Candidates experienced in hospital systems of similar size or trauma centers will be considered. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Candidates must not have had any professional license or certification suspensions or investigations, nor be named as a defendant in a professional liability claim. Verification of legal right to work in the U.S. is required. All candidates must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background checks.

Duties: Perform a majority of patient care skills with good nursing assessment in an acute care environment, requiring minimal orientation and supervision.
