About the Position

Job Title: PCU RN for ER HOLDING AREA Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13-14 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience or 1 year of recent PCU with 1+ years of telemetry, ER, or ICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Experience in titrating drips Successfully completed at least 1 previous travel assignment Description: This position requires Registered Nurses to work in a stepdown unit. The nurse to patient ratio is 4 to 1. Common diagnoses include Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, and heart failure. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience, or 1 year of recent PCU with additional experience in telemetry, ER, or ICU. It is required to have an active RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates should demonstrate telemetry experience and the ability to titrate drips. Successful completion of at least one previous travel assignment is required. All references should be within the same specialty or modality as the role. Resumes must detail the number of beds, trauma level for all facilities worked within the past 3 years, employment type, and number of shifts worked per month if applicable.
